Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a logistics or supply chain environment.
Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing, and distribution processes.
Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in data analysis and performance reporting.
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve targets.
Experience managing teams of 10-20 logistics and warehouse staff across multiple shifts.
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the logistics and warehousing teams, ensuring the seamless flow of materials, products and deliveries.
Develop and implement effective inventory management and control systems to optimize storage and distribution.
Liaise with production, sales and customer service teams to align logistics activities with business needs.
Monitor and analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
Manage and motivate the logistics team, providing training, guidance and support to drive high performance.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.
